| Elly
worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 years, most of that with healthy growing preemies
and newborns. In the early 80's she studied Therapeutic Touch with Dolores Krieger
and Dora Kuntz in their advanced workshops on Orcas Island. She incorporated this
in her work in the hospital and saw amazing results. In
1992 she began studying in the Healing Touch program and started her private practice
the next year. She worked with a wide variety of clients, while continuing her
work in the hospital. |

Touch is a program that prepares practitioners to work with all variations
of illness & dysfunction. It was developed by Janet Mentgen, RN., B.S.N.,
in the late 1980's. It is a nursing continuing education multi-level program in
energy-based therapy. It moves from beginning to advanced practitioner. Certification
includes a minimum of a year long mentorship, case studies, & proof of really
having done the work. Healing Touch is complementary to traditional health care
& is open to anyone with an interest in energy based healing.
Elly
began her training in Healing Touch in 1992. She opened her private practice the
next year and has worked with clients of all types. In the past she has coordinated
all levels of classes 1 - 5, and continues to host practice in her home one evening
a month. She enjoys being involved with the Healing Touch community. For

Elly began her training in the "Healing the Light Body School" with
Dr. Alberto Villoldo. The work is described in his books "Shaman, Healer,
Sage" , "Mending the Past & Healing the Future with Soul Retrieval"
& "The Four Insights; Wisdom, Power & Grace of the Earthkeepers".
This program teaches the Inka tradition of Shamanic Healing. It greatly accelerates
healing on all levels. Elly uses both Healing Touch and Shamanism in her life
and her private practice.
Shamanism
is the most ancient form of healing and is still practiced in some form by indigenous
peoples around the world. There are many similarities within each form of Shamanism,
but also many differences. Elly is trained in the Inka tradition from the mountains
of Peru. Her teacher, Alberto Villoldo, PhD, psychologist & medical anthropologist,
studied with these shamans for more than 25 years. He has been successful in bringing
the ancient knowledge from Peru to North America & Europe.

Her
experience with Breast Cancer: In 1995 Elly had her first occurrence of
breast cancer. She considered this a great learning experience. She found this
time to be a great acceleration of spiritual growth. Since then she has had several
recurrences, one recent. Each time brings more healing and awareness. She has
noticed acceleration in her healing abilities with each challenge. Because of
her personal experience she has compassion for people dealing with cancer. She
encourages people to take advantage of the "thinning of the veil" and
learn what they can from their experience. She has worked with her dreams through
much of her life and encourages clients to pay attention to these messages. Things
she loves to do: Elly does much of her work remotely and especially likes
to do space clearings and removal of "ghosts" or intrusive entities.
They are like a treasure hunt for her. She has worked with some very dark and
heavy energy and feels totally comfortable doing this. She does these entirely
remotely, so location is not an issue. Elly
loves challenges, so nothing is too strange! She believes that total healing is
possible and if not total healing, then, at least improvement. She is always excited
to see people's lives change because of the work. Nothing is routine. Elly
lives in Olympia, WA with her husband. She hosts Healing Touch practice in her
home once a month. She has a wonderful view of Puget Sound and Mt Rainier from
her living room. She is very connected to Mt St. Helen's also. She enjoys nature
and runs or walks on a trail near her home almost daily. She considers herself
to be very blessed in
this life. Living in a serene and beautiful space, plus being able to do work
that helps people so much is such a gift. |
